It’s really difficult to align my chakras when you walk in late…
I was all set to start my latest session of yoga when I ran into a little trouble. Even though I got out of work a little later than I would have liked, I was still on track to make it there on time, believe it or not. And then I ran into Pinole. What seemed like a close bet quickly ticked away. And then suddenly, it was only a minute to start time and I had just spotted the top of the bridge. There’s no cool way to walk in late to that class and I always feel bad so instead of subjecting myself to that personal shame, I gave Mel a call and hung out with her instead.
Luckily I keep an extra pair of clothes in the trunk of my car for emergencies, which apparently this was since I didn’t want to run around Vallejo in sweats and a t-shirt [cuz I just can’t do that outside a gym and the house] and I didn’t want to throw my work clothes back on since I wasn’t really feeling them to begin with. This is why I either need to pick out what I’m wearing the night before and/or get new pieces because sometimes I think something looks great, and then when I start to wake up a little bit more, realized that I was oh so wrong and wonder how the hell I let myself out of the house like that. Yesterday wasn’t too bad but still.
Anyway, we rolled out to Best Buy where I’m seriously convinced they have super bad feng shui. Even though all I was doing was waiting in line, I felt immediately agitated the second I walked into the store. Maybe it’s just a mental thing but I just didn’t have the patience to wait for anything. Ugh. This is really a store that I need to save for the weekends. I can’t go here after work when I’m tired and cranky and just want to go home. It was amazing how angry I got just standing there and how relieved I became the second we stepped out the store. I really just need to avoid that store as much as possible.
There is a chance that I’m just overreacting but seriously, who puts the TVs at the FRONT of the store?! What sense does that make? Pull them in further and show them other stuff they didn’t know they needed until they saw it. Jeez Best Buy, don’t you think? This is why the milk is always towards the back of the grocery store. The longer and deeper the customer is pulled into the store, the higher the likelihood they’ll impulse buy. This is about profits.
