Is this where the Wizard lives?
My trip to Seattle was such a fun time. I enjoyed every minute of the trip; especially the ones spent sleeping after incredibly busy days.
I took my first flight on Virgin America and can I say that I really liked it? I’m really going to try to fly them whenever possible. Though I will say that the flight up wasn’t where it was at. First I was stuck at the security check behind an European family [VA flies out of the International terminal in SFO] with an incredibly insane amount of stuff. For a family of four, they all had their own bag [with 2 little kids!] and took about 5 bins just to put all their stuff in plus two strollers, one of which was for a six-year old. I am serious here. That kid was way older than stroller age. So of course they just held up the party that is the public search and by the time I got through, my flight was already boarding. Thankfully my gate was one of the first ones so I didn’t have to go all O.J. in the terminal.
So the plane it self is really hip and sexy. Well as sexy as a plane can get. They have some fun purple mood lighting though. And the head flight attendant was named Tennessee. And yes, that’s her real name as the pilot assured us all. Plus points for VA. Though my favorite thing about the planes are the TVs in every seat. At least, it would have been had mine been properly working. For most of the flight, I wasn’t able to get any video [but apparently I wasn’t the only one] and the one channel I was able to pull in was FX, who was showing “White Chicks.”
FAIL.
Anywho, otherwise I quite enjoyed the flight. The map tracker is a great feature if you want to keep track of how close you are to your destination, which is something I always wonder about.
